A atriz Afton Williamson revelou, novamente através de uma postagem no Instagram, os nomes dos responsáveis pelo assédio sexual, discriminação racial e bullying que a atriz alega ter sofrido durante as gravações da série The Rookie, da ABC.

A intérprete da policial Talia Bishop já havia pedido seu desligamento do drama policial e não voltará para a 2ª temporada. A publicação inicial havia sido feita no último domingo (4), mas essa terça-feira os acusados tiveram seus nomes apontados.

"Nesta temporada em The Rookie fui sexualmente assediada pelo ator Demetrius Grosse. Fui racialmente discriminada e sexualmente abusada pela Chefe dos Cabeleireiros, Sally Nicole Ciganovich", declarou Williamson em sua postagem.

Grosse viveu o papel recorrente do detetive Kevin Wolfe na série em cinco episódios da primeira temporada.

No post original, a atriz contou que desde a gravação do episódio piloto ela vivenciou situações de discriminação racial por parte de Ciganovich e sofreu bullying dos produtores executivos.

"Ao longo da temporada a situação piorou e fui vítima de assédio sexual de um ator recorrente. E os comentários racistas da Chefe dos Cabeleireiros se transformaram em agressão sexual na festa de encerramento", escreveu Afton.

A atriz ainda alegou que contou ao showrunner de The Rookie, Alexi Hawley, mas que nada aconteceu. "Ele não fez registro nem repassou o problema para o departamento de Recursos Humanos", declarou a atriz. "A Chefe dos Cabeleireiros foi demitida depois da agressão sexual e não por causa de um ano inteiro de bullying e comentários racistas", escreveu.

Afton também disse que suas denúncias nunca foram investigadas e que ainda a queriam gravando com o ator denunciado por ela. "Depois que fiz a primeira denúncia de assédio sexual, me informaram que o ator em questão seria demitido. mas também pediram que eu gravasse com ele no dia seguinte".

Na segunda-feira (5), a presidente da ABC, Karey Burke, abordou o assunto na coletiva de imprensa da Television Critics Association dizendo que ela e a ABC estão "aguardando os resultados da investigação" antes de tomar uma posição.
